“Environmental Protection Ministry of Kazakhstan intends to impose an ecologic tax from the beginning of 2009,” Head of the Environmental Protection Ministry of Kazakhstan Nurlan Iskakov said Tuesday at an internet conference on small and medium business development.According to Mr. Iskakov, this tax will be levied for negative effect on the environment on the European countries’ model.
As reported earlier, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, at the 18th plenary session of the Foreign Investors Council’s session, directed the Government to speed the work on imposing ecological tax.
According to the Kazakh Leader, at the present time, it is necessary to provide conditions which will actively stimulate all entrepreneurs to business ecologization.
