Kazakh Minister of Environment Protection Nurlan Iskakov noted that the Law is aimed at the realization of the UN Framework Convention on climate change as of June 11, 1992 that was ratified by Kazakhstan on May 4, 1995.
The Minister stressed that the ratification of the Kyoto Protocol would allow to implement the tasks of the Head of the State on the necessity of promotion of country’s competitiveness, attraction of investments to energy sector, creation of conditions of transparency in the economy of the country.
