“Firstly, in January 2007 we adopted the Environmental Code of Kazakhstan that generalizes and systematizes environmental issues on legislative level. Secondly, we work over bringing the environmental requirements up to the level of legislative acts of direct effect”, the Minister of Environmental Protection noted.
“Besides, we introduced long-term permits for environmental management instead of annual ones thus reducing bureaucratic procedures”, he said.
“In accordance with the presidential instruction a project of “Strategy of energy efficiency and renewable sources of Kazakhstan by 2024” and a draft law “On support of renewable energy sources management” were elaborated by the Ministry”, N. Iskakov resumed.
